Whenever possible; I like to take walks with Sue around town during the evening golden hours. This is a time for me to observe the effects of light from the setting sun.
One thing I’ve been contemplating a lot in the past few months is how the built world does a masterful job of projecting religious, state and financial power over everyday people and how we still manage to find things that give our hearts a reason to beat. I’m unsure if this is through defiance, obliviousness, ignorance or just plain will power but I’m often impressed that we keep going, keep building and continue to be impressed with how soothing creativity can be.
